The vast majority of projects that we deliver benefit from our specialist teams of MEP experts being engaged early in the design and procurement process. This is usually done via a Professional Services Contract/Agreement which clearly defines the extent of our involvement during the early phases of the project ensuring that our clients fully optimise the full suite of benefits that can be obtained through the early engagement of the MEP contractor.
Through our Design Partner Framework we can offer our clients access to best in class design consultants who have both; the expertise and resources that are relevant to your particular project and; already have an established successful working relationship of working with our business. As a result our design partners have a clear understanding of how we approach our projects with particular focus on how we integrate modern method of construction techniques such off site manufactured MEP modules into the design at the relevant design stage thereby avoiding costly re-design.
Our project engineering and technical teams will be on hand to work alongside the wider project stakeholders including the MEP design consultant to ensure that the MEP design solutions being proposed are fit for purpose and can be built on site. We will use our digital engineering expertise to build virtually in the digital world before building in reality on site. Our teams have a wealth of knowledge and expertise obtained from previous project experiences which they are always keen to share to ensure the best possible project outcomes.
Our MEP planning and programming specialists will work alongside the other building disciplines and trade contractors to generate the optimum overall construction programme for our client. This collaborative approach means that trade programmes will be fully integrated, analysed and understood by all key stakeholders before we commence work on site.
Vitally important to all our clients is having visibility and control of their project budget. To support this our pricing teams can provide informed MEP cost advice based on real project outcomes at any stage of the design process. They will work collaboratively with the Project Cost Consultant to jointly develop the MEP cost plan which will be underpinned by the expertise of our in-house delivery model and the strength of our relations with our specialist supply chain. This approach ensures that we are providing our clients with reliable and informative cost information which will allow them to make the necessary investment decisions at the appropriate time.
