CHt was a key member of the innovative ‘one team’ solution, working across technical disciplines in design, engineering and manufacturing, utilising virtual 3D/4D digital prototyping to simulate the installation and sequencing flows. As a result, expected installation outputs were exceeded without a single clash.
Our seismic scope
Specialist services delivered, commissioned and set to work by CHt included: specialist process equipment and specialist detailed design and installation of cranes, shield doors, vault vent covers, stillage location targets, functionality and recovery scenario testing, specialist process systems - Safety Interlock Definition Design (SIDD), Optical Character Recognition (OCR), OCR software, safety interlock systems, network & communications, environmental monitoring and integrated works testing. building services detailed design, including HVAC, chilled water, containment HV & LV power supplies lighting, fire alarm & security and lightning protection.
CHt applied a wide range of innovative technologies by working in collaboration with our project partners, a solution was devised which allowed over 50% of the services required to be manufactured off site.
This strategy, in tandem with CHt’s deeply imbedded ‘one-team’ behaviours, contributed to an outstanding safety record, achieving over one million man-hours without a lost time incident.
