CHt worked with the club and their design team to understand their strategic goals. Through early engagement, we identified ways to optimise the MEP design to embed programme and cost certainty through modern methods of construction.

Our team have designed and manufactured MEP modules that, once installed, will enable the distribution of power, heating, ventilation, and water to all areas of the stadium.

Delivering certainty in quality and programme

Our in-house manufacturing facility in Oldbury are manufacturing Horizonal Distribution Modules, Risers, Plantroom Skids, AHU valve set frames, Serviced Walkway Gantry Modules and Modular IPS (MIPS) modules. Our in-house manufacturing facility in Oldbury are currently manufacturing Horizontal distribution, risers, plant skids and MIPS modules ready for installation on the Project. The use of modern methods of construction will ensure high-quality assurance with efficient assembly speeds, as well as reduced on-site labour and supervision; reducing the impact on local stakeholders and traffic.

Providing innovative solutions

Due to the volume and repeatability of Toilet facilities within Stadiums, our facility in Oldbury manufactured 260 MIPS (Modular IPS) modules in two and three WC module variants off site, shrink wrapped and protected for delivery to site, installed direct into a finished environment. The only site operations after installing the modules is connecting the final DCWS feed, Soil stack connections, WC pans and electrical connections for Trace Heating. All other pipework / panelling is pre-installed quality checked and tested before leaving the factory.

A transformative project

Our team are very proud to be part of delivering The People’s Project and the delivery of a community-led legacy at Goodison Park – which will deliver nearly £800m of societal value during a 10-year period. This will be supported by Everton, the Club’s official charity Everton in the Community, and the Laing O’Rourke group working in partnership to make sure the people and businesses of Merseyside benefit via employment, apprenticeship, training, and supply chain opportunities.
